Born and raised in Nagoya, Japan, Masa fell in love with art, music and English when he was a small child. A Graduate of Sophia University in Tokyo in English/American Literature, he also studied film, which led him to Los Angeles in order to expand on his creative visions and make his dreams come true.

Known as an merging commercial filmmaker, Sakurako Harima is one of the most outrageous film directors and artists from Japan. Recipient of Japan Advertising Agencies Association Rookie Award, Tokyo Copywriters Club Rookie Award, and The Best Creative Prize from Hakuhodo. Currently directing several film projects at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, the latest of which, "KA-BU," will be out in early 2007.

Born in Kochi, Japan, writer/director Akihiro Kitamura studied filmmaking at the North Carolina School of the Arts and acting directing at the Beverly Hills Playhouse. Akihiro wrote, directed, an starred in his first industry feature film, "PORNO," which was shown at various film festivals, where he was hailed as "the most original new filmmaker since Woody Allen." He recently won the "Outstanding Indie Directorial Debut Award" for his 2nd feature film "I'll Be There With You" at this year's LA Indies Film Award 2006.

A director and writer, Takuro Miyoshi has received his Bachelor's Degree from Keio University in environmental information and has received Master's Degree from Columbia University School of Arts in film. He is the recipient of the Keio University Academic Award for his short film "BLUE" and has directed several other shorts, including "A MAN IN A WELL," "A DAY IN KOTOHIRA," and "THE BAG." he currently is working in MSS-New York, Japanese production company in NY.

Yorico majored Craft and Art in Tokyo National University of Fine Arts. She worked for an advertising company Dentsu Tec Inc., Tokyo as an art director for 7 years. In 2001 Yorico enrolled in the Animation and Digital Arts Department of USC Cinema-TV, and received MFA in 2005.

Yasuaki Nakajima was born in Hokkaido, Japan and is a self-taught filmmaker. He went to Tokyo after high school, where he honed his craft by shooting a short claymation film with a second-hand Super-8mm film camera. He moved to New York in 1996 to join the independent film community.

Born in Tokyo, Japan, on Aug 18, 1979. After graduating from Tokyo Visual Arts for film in Japan, Teppei moved to USA in 2001, and decided to strengthen his film and English skills. After finishing studying at Los Angeles City College, he directed couple of short movies. And right now he is writing a script for feature length movie.

Born in Japan, in 1980, Kunio Nozawa moved to California and earned a Certificate in Film/Video at Orange Coast College. While attending school, Nozawa also helped organized Sundale Dream (NPO) events with other colleagues. He primarily works on promotion videos, TVCM, short films, and music videos as a director.

Raised in Hiroshima, Sakino came to the U.S. in 2000. His films, "The Jazz Addict," "Vanity Mirror." "The Spial Ring," and "Orizuru," are screened internationally at various film festivals. Currently, he is working on writing the feature length version of "Orizuru."

Based in USA and Japan, Miyuki Sohara was a TV announcer and a radio DJ in Japan and USA for 13 years. She ha also produced numerous live performances and film projects. In preparation for shooting Hannari-Geisha Modern, Miyuki trained alongside the geisha in Kyoto for several years.

Hiroo Takaoka came to the U.S. from Japan in 1989 to pursue his dream of becoming a cinematographer. He earned his B.A. in film from New York University in 1993 and has been shooting documentaries, music videos and commercials since 2000. "Collateral" is his directorial debut.

Mr. Tanaka works at a monotonous job processing loans in a remote part of Japan. One day, his routine is shattered when he receives an application from a desperate entrepreneur. He denies the loan and must deal with the horror that ensues.
